I just bought a bottle of sun-in, because i want to get like a couple high-lights to spice up my hair [:
But i dont have any sun cause its freezing and raining right now.
I have a kinda/meduimish brown color hair. Will it work with a blow dryer?

Btw, I know people say that it will turn your hair orange for brown hair but Ive alreayd used a blonde dye for highlights on my dark hair and it didnt turn my hair orange.. it worked.

p.s. dont tell me to go to a salon because i dont like the salons around where i love cause they do everything so perfectly and it looks weird for lighter highlights if that makes sense.
p.p.s. dont tell me to get a box dye

just tell me if sun-in will work with a blowdryer!
please and thanks!

I have dark hair & used Sun-in once years ago. My hair was pretty orange. I don't remember if I used a hair dryer but it will probably work if you consider turning orange working.

I believe sun-in will work with any heat source, whether the sun or a blow dryer. In fact, I used it once, and I thought it said on the bottle that you could use a blow dryer. I might also add that you should keep your hair conditioned regularly, as sun-in made mine very dry, so I quit using it. Dark hair when bleached, does go through various stages of lightening, and does turn shades of red or orange until it reaches the desired blonde shade. I don't believe sun-in is strong enough to take that much color out of your hair though, since it is designed to make hair look sun streaked. Good luck with the product. I did not especially care for it.

Yes, sun-in works with a blow dryer, and yes it will turn brown and darker hair orange, it's not the same thing as is in bleaches or highlighters. My hair is blonde but during the summer I have used it with a blow dryer it works great, but I already have blonde hair! I have a couple of friends, who have dark hair and they tried it too, orange hair!!

Should work with or without the hairdryer, you just want it to lighten your hair, nothing else, right? Should work just fine, and it's a low % of peroxide, so brassy color might not be a problem, but prolonged use can make hair dry and take future color uneven, so be sure to stop use of this product for 2weeks if you decide to go to the salon or get a box, which sounds like you won't, but just in case, be aware of what this product will long term do to your hair

I used Sun-in for years and yes, it does work with a blow dryer. No it will not immediately turn your hair orange but with too many applications, it can get funky looking.

My hair was dishwater blonde so I wanted more blonde-blonde and I used Sun-in regularly. I did overdo it one year though and people noticed a dramatic change. You can always go for the box die if you go too far.

But I would have no reservation using Sun-in. It's pretty gentle. No worries, Mate!

I used it in the sun and no results.
It won't work with a blowdryer,
its 'Sun-in' for a reason... lol.
