My littlest pug decided he was going to get on the coffee table and jump on his brothers (another pugs) back when he walked by. they also decide to run and jump and play king of the mt on the back of the couch. which i admit that all of this funny but im afraid that im going to have to take a pug to the vet bc he decided to play king of the mt and got hurt. does anyone else have to suffer thru this

lol your dogs sound very funny! My Tibbie bulldozes into anything fabric after a bath and rubs around on it, then jets off across the house to find another suitable drying cloth (like my jeans, or the couch, or my bed). So after the 1st few times I got smart! I now keep the bathroom free of anything on the floor except for towels, I "ring" him out over the tub (I just squeeze off some excess water from him fur, he's very furry) then just nab him up on whatever towel he lands on, I can get him most of the way dry but then I have to shut him in the hallway for about 20 minutes with some towels for him to work out his after-bath frustrations! lol I swear my dog needs a shrink or a cat to teach him how to clean himself because he's fine in the bath but afterwards can be a b*tch!

My other dog has only had one bath (he's just a puppy, and he's a newfie so they aren't supposed to get bathed super often because they are supposed to have an oily outer coat). Basically he's got webbed feet and I wanted to see if he would swim, he didn't and wasn't too thrilled with the whole bath process. Afterwards I toweled him off, but he was still wet because of the kind of coat that he has, I was tempted to use a blow dryer but decided that he had been traumatized enough for one day!

Well, not an acrobat, but after bathing my Aussie Cattledog likes to run around & rub on stuff.

If I've bathed him in the yard he will slide his face along the grass.

In the house he slides his face on the carpet, dog bed, whatever.

Funny to watch but I have to wonder what he's up to. :-) I don't get his face wet when I bathe him.

I have heard of other Cattledogs doing the same thing.

I generally bathe our GSD at the same time and she has never done anything like that.

Mine are big dogs and they tear through the house doing nose plows into the rug and shaking water everywhere and rubbing up against upholstery. We have the mobile groomer come now so I don't have to deal with the circus. Worth every penny.

oh yeah. I have 3 dogs all different breeds sizes and ages and they are all nuts after a bath. I just get out of the way and hope for the best!
