Do you think its easier to move on...?

when someone treats you VERY badly and you KNOW you can easily get better or is it easier to move on when it ends because of some other circumstance such as long distance where it might have worked otherwise and you didn't do each other wrong by cheating, etc. I personally think its easier to move on when the man I'm with is an @sshole anyway. I've had both types of experiences and I got over the @sshole pretty quick, but I don't know if I will ever get over the other guy. I love him a lot and we lived together for 2 and a half years and I really wanted to spend my life with him...but I guess we had our problems too.

I totally agree with you about it being easier to get over a guy that is a jerk to you over the other kind of situation. I understand what you're going through and I know it's hard. Try to stay strong and the one nice thing is that you will still think good thoughts about this guy. When you remember the good times you had, it is not with hatred or anguish, but rather with a smile even though there is sadness there. But it is still nice to have good things to look back on.

If he is treating you bad, you need to move on to something who is going to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. Don't get let your mind tell you you can't find anyone, there are plenty of guys out there who are looking for a good person to spend their live with. You just have to filter out the jerks.

A bad experience is one thing.....but if you've still got it for the long distance guy, and it's been a while ...you might want re-consider....

I think the three women here know what they are talking about.

You can spray perfume on a turd and put a nice pretty bow on it...........

........but in the end, its still a turd.
