hhhmmmmm a nice short style would look best, I thinik older women looked their best with short hair... and with long hair they look most of the time like they are trying to be young again... with short hair you can still stay in style but still be sophisticated:)

I am 51 yrs. old and I have short hair, but not because I'm older. I have it because my hair is naturally curly and if I let it grow out and become long, I look as if I have a natural afro. I have many times gone and paid someone to straighten my hair so I could see what it would look like long, only to find out, what for? It doesn't last and eventually I would have to pay and pay again. I enjoy my short hair and if someone else doesn't, then oh well. I'm not trying to please everyone else, I find it sometimes hard enough just to please myself. So, I think it depends on how you perceive yourself. Do you look good with short hair? 77 is not old, besides that's just a number. You may as well be 22 and be asking yourself the same question about your hair. It all is up too you on how you feel it looks best too you.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules about older women having short hair, although most of them do. It's attractive on some women if they have it styled regularly and if it looks neat and chic, rather than in a fuzzy poodle permed style. Actually, I think medium-length hair does soften the features, especially if it's framing the face. I'd consult a hair stylist who can suggest a cut that's flattering to the shape of your face and your features. I'm not particularly fond of grey or white hair, but if coloring it regularly is a hassle, I'd go with highlights and lowlights rather than all one color. That way, the roots won't be as obvious.

I think shoulder length hair would be fine, your never to old to wear your hair a little long, and yes it does soften your face a little, really short hair always seems to make an older person look old. I'm 44 and my hair is almost to my waist, I will never have really short hair but that is my personal preference, and yesI like looking as young as I can, don't want to look any older than I have to!! I think it would be beautiful grown out white!

How long and how short do you mean? I agree that longer hair would probably help soften the face, but if you like your hair short hair leave it. If you wanna go in between, maybe chin to shoulder length would look good.

I think that sort hair would be great. But, if your personality suits long hair, then put it as long! What did u have when you were 20/30?I think that u should let ur hair grow out white, because as ur face get's older, it will look kind of wierd that u have coloured hair.

without a DOUBT let it grow longer! you have been thinking about it so just try it. If you hate it cut it!! Also If you like color and it makes you feel good keep it. My grandma just turned 76 and she looks great with her colored hair...good luck :)

I think at that age you can do whatever you want.
To me age shows in the face, so try somthing new with
your hair anyways and have fun!
Do somthing new, your never too old for anything!
Good luck!
