Cephalexin is in a group of drugs called cephalosporin antibiotics. Cephalexin fights bacteria in the body.

Cephalexin is generally used to treat infections caused by bacteria, including upper respiratory infections, ear infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections. Swollen Lymph nodes are not usually treated with Cephalexin.

I do not know if your doctor has given this for the purpose of treating some other problem. So please discuss with your doctor immediately. -

This sounds like a good question for the doctor who wrote the prescription.

usually the medicine knows where to go. it should take care of it. if its not gone before u finish the medicine go back to the doctor and see what he says. if i were u i would call the advice nurse right now and ask her what u should do.
