I am really very interested in listening to what Turkish and other Muslim women have to say. Because to me, "you can't give your heart an order" and, thus, if a man and a woman love each other, why should it matter what their religions are? I mean, it's as simple as that: people either love each other or they don't. Period. Am I right?

Those who actually feel prejudice are not the Muslims,no...Those who have a real problem with religion are the Christians, in fact.
Turkish women are much more open-minded and respectful than most of Westerner women ( from either Europe or USA).
Anybody can love and marry anyone he/she wants, and religion is a personal choice.
But anyone who wants to marry a Muslim must respect his/her faith.
None of my non-Muslim ex-girl-friends managed to change me, but they had to change some of their habits (e.g I always prohibe eating pork to my partner). And a Muslim woman also deserves your genuine respect and your real love, and you have to prove that you are really worth it ( you know what I mean...)

U hae a friend who is a Christian woman and she married a Turkish Muslim man. They are fine. Even had premarital counseling with a non denominational Pastor. It just depends on the individuals.

There are many Turkish (and muslim at the same time) women who are married to non-muslims.
But, as you can see it's a very personal issue. While some wouldn't mind it, some would consider it a big problem. I don't think one can generalize Turkish women in this sense.
Personally, it's not a problem for me. But honestly, my family would first frown at me upon hearing that I want to marry a non-muslim. But, in the end it would be my choice.

I don't care about religion in a relationship. Religion is something in the heart and is very personal.

Yes, like 3 other women in my family who are married with (English and American guys) i would say yes if i am in love.
I don't care about the religion of a person that i married. In a marriage the most important thing is being in love not some spiritual act.

I happen to know a Turkish woman who is willing to marry a non-muslim. :) For her and her family it's not an issue at all.
