I'm not an atheist, but I think it is better if we live together. The exchange of ideas makes us mentally stronger. I discovered this when I lived in Korea and Kansas where everyone looks, thinks and behaves the same.

Haven't you ever heard of Freedom of Religion?

Intolerant, much?

EDIT: The guy above me hit the nail on the head - If you like theocracy so much, how come you folks are so critical of places like Sudan, Afghanistan and Iraq? Theocracy reigns supreme in places like that. I'm guessing you're after the Christian equivalent for the US, huh?

We've got the United States.

You theocrats can move to Afghanistan and hang out with your buddy bin Laden. The soldiers who fought to protect us from you won't miss you traitors at all.

Actually, I think people like you should move first.

Atheists and others who use and appreciate the freedom of religion will stay here.

Nope. I happen to appreciate diversity, and don't want anyone to 'get out'.

Maybe we all need to stop taking ourselves and our beliefs (or lack there of) so seriously?

Actually, I think we should make use of Barry Goldwater's famous suggestion of sawing off the Eastern seaboard and letting it float out to sea. Of course, when I say 'Eastern seaboard' I mean 'Bible belt'....

((((Pangloss!!))))
