I just got an american express blue travel credit card. There is a stirp on the back with the card number on it, it it doesn't really look like you are supposed to sign in... ther really isn't any room.

Do you have one? Did you sign it?!?

I signed my Blue card. I had to write small to get it to fit.

Technically, you are supposed to sign it. However since so few sales people in the United States actually bother to check the signature many people have taken to putting "SEE ID" on the back of their cards. That's technically against the credit card agreement, not to mention no cashiers ever even asked me for ID when I did that to my debit card. Now, in Europe they actually compare your signatures still. Anyhoo, I digress. Sign it or put "See ID," I don't think it matters that much.

Yeah, you sign on that itty bitty teeny tiny little strip that has the numbers printed on it.

I would not do as the first poster recommended and not sign the card but write see ID on instead.
By doing that you are voiding your rights if something should happen and someone steals your card or card number.
You could be held responsible for the entire amount the thief charges instead of only $50.00.

I would suggest you don't sign it because someone could use your card even if there's a signature on it, they could just copy it and pretend they're you. So what i do to my credit cards, i put CHECK ID on the back.
