If the police charge you with a felony and there is a warrant for your arrest, you will be picked up by your local police dept. The local PD will hold you in jail (usually without bond) and wait for the charging jurisdiction to decide if you are going to be extradited back to them. Once that decision is made, you will be sent back and held in the charging jurisdiction to await arraignment. Chances are bond will either be revoked or set high because of flight risk.

Don't run a stop sign.
Don't get pulled over for speeding.
Don't file your taxes.
Don't work a job that takes Social Security.
Don't call the police even if you have been robbed and beaten.

And you will be just fine.
Do you think they are going to look for you?
Be a man and face the music. Do what's right and turn yourself in.

You will most def have a warrant and if you get stopped by the police for anything they will take you in. I don't know if the police from the state that you committed the crime in will actually go on a manhunt, but your name is in a database so any encounters with the cops means being taken into custody.

If you are charged with a felony and you skipped a trial, sentence or anything you were ordered to appear, Yes-they will come to get you if they know where you are. If they don't, the next time you get a speeding ticket, parking ticket etc etc. Your name will come up as a fugitive and they will get you then.

If there's an outstanding felony arrest warrant on you and you get picked up for something where you are now and the police discover it, they can hold you. It's up to the original jurisdiction to come get you if they want to proceed.
