I moved out when I was 17 but lived with another relative. Moved out of there at 19.
My daughter is almost 24 and has moved out and back 3 times. My other daughter got married when she was 18 and moved out.

I was almost 19. I moved from my family home in California to Colorado. My parents were supportive and helped me. I was married beofore I turned 20. Had my first child at 22, my second at 24, and my third at 28.

I left sometime around 19. I went on a travelling for a couple months, came home and moved out the following month. My parents weren't exactly pleased, but everything worked out. They ignored me for a couple months. They came to my apartment once and complained about EVERYTHING (it's too hot, all the walls and ceilings are white, it's too high up (the 32 floor), it's in a sketchy area, bathroom is too small...etc).
I moved out because I wanted to 'grow up'...plus, it's kind of hard to travel alone for 4 months, have no responsibilities, etc, then come home and have to be accountable for every action...
I 'moved out' at 18, but it was temporary, for school, living with my friend, and my parents were paying for most of my expenses. So, it wasn't technically moving out, because my parents covered rent...
