My dentures are usually pretty well free of the dental adhesives I use after I have eaten my meals and snacks throughout the day. In fact, I sometimes have to apply additional adhesive during the day. And, yes, I have tried almost every type of Polygrip, of Fixodent and various generic adhesives, as well as Sea-Bond.

Sure, go ahead and remove them. It's allowed.
I know of no federal, state or local laws that prohibit you from removing your dentures once you have applied adhesive to them.
