Why does my head itch all the time?

My mom says I have dandruff, and when I scratch my head, this is this white stuff under my nails. Why is this happening?

It is probably dandruff - which is the white flakes that fall, but the itching could be because you're allergic to your shampoo (all those added scents can be an irritant) or washing your hair too much.
