Your best bet would be for your vet to write a prescription for Hills Prescription Diet K/D. Hills has done the vast majority of research in the dog nutrition area and is by far the most respected maker of foods for specific problems.

The Tripsy will work to aid the kidneys normal function. It also has antibacterial properties that help if there is any kidney infection present. If it is a kidney infection that is causing the high white blood cell count then Tripsy will help. If it is not an infection it won't help though.
Chicken broth is high in salt which is not good for weak kidneys.
Rice is not something dogs would normally eat.
You should not give too much protein as it is harmful to weak kidneys but pieces of real chicken are better than broth.
If you use rice, get a brown or wild grain rice, not a processed 5 min cook rice or Uncle Ben's or that garbage. Better yet, use wild barley or steal cut oats for carbs and provide slices of apples.

Kidney failure? Has he been seen by a vet? Have subcutaneous fluids been recommended yet? What about phosophorus binders in his diet? (they're tasteless and odorless so easily added to food) You'd better get that dog to the vet. There's also a kidney-friendly canned food you can purchase. Don't waste any more time. You need to correct for the kidney failure as much as possible because once the kidney nephrons die off, they can't be replaced. You need to slow that as much as possible. Get going! You can prolong your dog's life if you educate yourself and get the help of a good vet.
