Jesus called 12 men and spent every day with them for about three years. 11 of them finally came to a place in their lives where they realized they could do nothing without him. Judas still had other plans of his own and we know how that ended. Have you came to that place yet where God calls all the shots or do you still have your own agenda?

I know that i can do nothing without God.
I'm not where I used to be,but God still has alot of work and refining to do. The polishing process does get a little rough at times.
But our life is as a vapor. Eternity is FOREVER. Thank you for this Great question. It's no accident that I came across it.

Unlike Remy... I don't believe God and Christ are religion. With God all things are possible. Without God no thing is possible. Two Biblical verses which help keep my mind and heart together and on track. My daily meditation is 'The Father and I are one'.
I'm a Jesus gal. My agenda is to do God's will. Sounds hi-falutin' but even if I fall short of the mark, at least I'm on track.
And like others it has taken me practice and dedication to get to the point where that is my agenda. And I am so glad that it is my agenda. If it wasn't I would give into every mood that blows through my mind, and I would be in a messier state because of that. So thanks for a great Q and the connection we've found in this time to remember, re-evaluate, and share. Blessings all. :) Oh yes, PS I'm proud of my "crutch" as some call God, wouldn't stand without it. Non-believers have their own crutches, too, just different ones. May the peace that passes understanding move through all hearts today. :)

Really we can't do anything without Jesus. We can not give fruit without being connected to Him Who Himself is the Vine.

With Jesus we are heros.
Without Jesus we are just zeros.

If we keep Him first we are 1000
If we keep Him last we are 0001.

Jesus taught nonviolence .
We 2100000000 people just believe in it.
Since Christians, we are living a blessed life.
Without Jesus we would have been slaves under some other people.

Had we not accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour ,we would have been just barbarians .
But we now lead a decent life and we lead the world through all means.
Since we see all the Characteristics attributed to God the Almighty in Jesus ,no doubt we have accepted Jesus to be the Son of God and God Himself .

I have come to the place where my whole life revolves around and is filtered through my relationship to Jesus. It has been that way for years, but I still have times where my faith is weak or stressed. So I don't ever get too complacent and think I've arrived, so to speak.

Jesus uses my life at the same time He is still healing my life. My childhood was extremely destructive/abusive and it has left me with scars and difficulty trusting, even the one who deserves full trust without reservation.

But, the most painful areas of my life are where I am able to reach out to someone in similar difficulty. So, I don't regret the past I have, I just wish to get "Past my past"! I consider myself passionately sold-out to Jesus Christ, but I feel uncomfortable with blanket designations. God does call the shots, but once in a while He has to open my eyes to someplace in my life where my own agenda has crept in. This is why I rely on His Grace, not my dedication! =)

I pray that everyday I get closer to surrendering everything to Him- As a human I know that there are days that I don't do that was well as others, but my greatest desire is to give up my agenda and obey Him completely. Praise God that God is forgiving though because until we see Him face to face, we continue to press on toward the goal. The Lord is the most important person in my life, and I pray that I do what pleases Him

God is definitely getting me there. It has been a long road, and just when I think I am finally at that place, God throws me a curve ball, shows me I'm not, and breaks me down all the more. All I can really do is humbly praise Him for it.

No agenda. I had one before I knew Jesus. I completely screwed it all up. My life was the biggest mess. Thought I was the "ruler of my universe." What a crock. I have peace and no drama now. I still fall down. Thank God He is who He is. Otherwise, I would be in some serious sh*&. Praise Jesus!

I think it's a daily thing for me. I have to remember every time that it's God's will, not my plans, that are important. I still plan things, but I try to make sure my plans are flexible so God can mold them and change them as he likes through what he reveals to me through the Holy Spirit and Word(Bible.)

Giving up my own will and letting Jesus have complete control is probably the hardest thing I had to do in growing in my faith. Once I did it, however, I felt free as a bird. God can take care of things much better than I ever did. Thank you Lord.
