How do I show a guy I like him without embarassing myself in front of him?

Just simple things. Smile at him when he catches you looking at him instead of pretending you didn't notice. Talk to him about anything as long as he seems interested. touch his arm usually around the bicep. not for too long, just 2 or 3 seconds when making a point or saying something like "oh my gosh! you're so funny!" then remove thine hand. :D simple stuff makes a big difference and doesn't make you look like a moron in front of him or your friends.

You understand that your own behaviour is causing you the biggest problems, and that's good. You seem to have had a lot of ''accidents'' which were probably just doing stupid things because you didn't know how else to handle a situation. It doesn't sound like you have had a lot of guidance in your life, maybe your mum wasn't too supportive, but take the help that is being offered you in school. Really listen to those who are trying to help you, because they are right, and your best hope of making something good for yourself. You need to have something to focus on and take pride in, yes, you've made mistakes, don;t we all, but they are in the past, and all you can do now is not worry about haters, and concentrate on the most important person of all...YOU. Many people have recovered from a dodgy start in life and gone on to have successful careers, families, lives, and you can too. As for people making problems for you, the only thing you can do is try as hard as you can to pretend you haven't noticed them, and to act SO well, like a really bright confident (don't confuse confidence for being loud) 'going somewhere' young woman. You can do this, you know.. you really can.

Talk to him girl. That's the only way. Unlike girls guys are more approachable than girls. Girls most of the time are tough to approach. Guys on the other hand like to be approached by a girl. I mean seriously what guy out there would not like it. It makes things easier for them.
