I live about an hour away (Inland Empire) and am trying to figure out what is the best, cheapest, easiest way to get to LAX on Christmas Night. Not sure how much traffic there will be either??
-I am debating renting a car and 2 carseats
-Taking a shuttle (not sure if they supply carseats??)
-Having someone drop me off (although I am sure everyone will be busy on Christmas)
-Parking at LAX

How much will each of these cost me? Any other ideas??

I am not talking about directions. I already know how to get to LAX.

here are some ideas
your friend could drive to lax thats one option
another is a shuttle but they dont provide car seats
or another idea is for your friend to drive to Union station
then pick up the flyway bus to lax from there
it would be only $4.00 and children's 2 to 12 are $2.00
(under 2 are free)
(I would have suggested metrolink but they wouldn't be running on Christmas day
(Christmas eve yes)

I work at LAX, so lets see what we can do. You could check on shuttles. Primetime and Super Shuttle. No sure if they drive that far. Yes, you could rent a car (or do you have your own car you could drive?) Parking in "B" lot is about the cheapest. $8.00 per day. When I go to work tomorrow I will check about other shuttles. Email me and I can give you an answer. kingsleydr60@yahoo.com Traffic on Christmas Day is very light, so driving would not be a problem.

Another option is to take the train to Union Station and then the flyaway bus from there to the airport. Because you avoid cars, you avoid the carseat problem.
