There are a lot of people who Claim to be Christian but are not, (if you get mad at this.... are you questioning if you are one?) but I was wondering if there are Satanists or Atheists who claim to be Satanists or Atheists but are not? How would I know them if I met them?

I only linked Satanists and Atheists together in the Question because originally I had thought of Satanist and then my husband wondered if there were fake Atheists too.... so I just put them in together. I guess I was just being point stingy... Sorry if you have taken offense. None intended.

Yeah, I've met fake Satanists ... of the Theistic sort, like myself. We call them "Reverse Christians".
I can't say I've ever met a fake LaVeyan, though.

Yeah.The So Called "Church Of Satan" Is Mere Hollywood Satanism...It Has Nothing To Do With Witchcraft And Such,But Simply A Different Practice.

I would think so. Before I became a Christian, I was a Wiccan. Before that, I guess I would have claimed atheism but really wouldn't have have had any belief to claim as my own because back then I didn't care to investigate the different beliefs.

I'm sure there are fake atheists, I had a friend from school who said he was atheist for years. When I bumped into him a year ago he said he was a devout Christian now and that he always truly believed in god. He then told me that I'm going through a "phase" and that I'll find god eventually.
8 years is a pretty long "phase".
Oh, and Ricky, Satanism is atheistic.

Yes, there are fake everything -- including Atheists. Some people will say they are what they think is most popular (or most controversial) at the time. Some people thrive only on attention -- positive or negative.

Easy..They are the ones who like to blame God for every bad thing that happens to them. They should take a look in the mirror, there's the real cause of all their problems.

Yes. Anyone can claim to be something they're not.
I can say Biggie Smalls is my uncle,Hitler's my grandfather and Marilyn Manson's my big brother....that dosen't make it true.
