Doesn't everyone concerned benefit from Mexican illegals?

The illegals wouldn't come if they didn't benefit.

Those who employ them benefit by paying less than to an American for the same work.

The Americans don't want to work for that pay level anyway so they are not losing anything they want.

Illegals don't draw welfare etc so they don't cost the system anything.

It seems like everyone benefits so why do so many people complain?

Yes doesn't everyone want cheap food for example can you imagine the price hikes if only Americans picked fruit and veg and worked in food processing.

Doesn't the US possess most of the worlds wealth. A lot of it earned by the exploitation of poor people around the world.

Think about giving something back. All Americans families were once Immigrants.

They came and saw opportunity and grabbed it. Regardless of the Native Population.

Nothing has changed. They are just like your ancestors.

The US needs brave, motivated people like this.

Give them a break cos you are better off with them than without them.

Yeah, the law breakers benefit, the illegal workers and illegal employers, and everyone else loses. Young U.S. workers coming into the work force from school can no longer get jobs in many areas because the jobs are all taken by illegals who are willing to work for much lower wages in worse conditions, which is what is wrong with all of Latin America in the first place.

All U.S. citizens make less wages because illegals are willing to work for less wages, our labor rights and safety laws are eliminated, and the gap grows between the rich and the poor. Soon the U.S. will be like Latin America and everyone will make horribly low wages.

Except when things get bad enough, you might find that the whites are not so willing to surrender their rights, and we will do what we have done many times in the past to fix this problem, and take care of the crooks.

Wow. . . Everything must be so rosey in your world.

Illegals that are here are criminals. If the illegals keep coming in, and we allow it to continue, then what do you think will happen to you and your friends in their jobs? They will end up losing them to illegals willing to work for lower pay. And then what happens is that they will cry that they can't live on the wages they are being paid, and we WILL have to supplement them.

And why don't you ask the California medical community how illegal immigration effects them. In the last year, over 60 hospitals have had to close their doors due to non payment of medical bills. They can't turn anyone away, but yet the illegals find a need to give the wrong name and address, and then not even pay for the services they received. And who do you think ends up paying for those charges? They don't just disappear - WE the US CITIZENS end up paying for them in the way of higher insurance premiums and higher medical costs.

So tell me, sir, how is that benefiting me and my family???

Yes.. they take jobs Americans would do for a living wage. But because the illegal aliens will do the job for less money, they hire illegal aliens. Then there is a spreading effect on the matter with the businesses in competition with the orgininal business forced to lower costs by hiring illegal aliens themselves. It cascades.. it is a nightmare for most Americans.

Oh yes they are. There are dozens of estimates out there that clearly tell us the illegal aliens have created significant downward pressure on middle income wages. And there are more unemployed, or marginally employed American today than ever before. And no.. they have not found jobs. But the jobs the illegal aliens have taken include excellent and well paid jobs. Because they speak Spanish, they enable the company to move to illegal aliens without loss of control over the workers. It is illegal to do that.. it is morally wrong to do that.

WASHINGTON – Someone has finally fixed an approximate taxpayer cost of between 12 million and 15 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S.

A new study by the Heritage Foundation's Robert Rector found a household headed by an individual without a high school education, including about two-thirds of illegal aliens, costs U.S. taxpayers more than $32,000 in federal, state and local benefits. That same family contributes an average of $9,000 a year in taxes, resulting in a net tax burden of $22,449 each year.

A member of my family works for a hospital. Illegals flood the emergency room daily because they use it as a regular doctors office to bring in junior with the sniffles or cousin with a sore wrist and because its free and they can't be turned away. In the meantime, the US legal citizens wait for two hours to see a doctor with more serious problems such as broken bones and strep throat infections and high fevers. I know this personally because I sat in these waiting rooms with family members and waited and waited and waited and we had to pay for the services. If this is a benefit to me and my family, I am having a hard time figuring out how that is the case.

There is more to life than material gains. Our economy may hurt from fighting Mexican illegals - FOR NOW (you honestly think American citizens are going to starve before they learn how to work those fields again?), but the peace and stability we'd have without them would be worth any such cost.

Ah, but the tax paying citizen who refuses to hire illegal aliens, and are willing to work whatever job is necessary, and continues to pay thousands of dollars in taxes does not benefit (that's the majority of people). And the illegal aliens do get benefits... who pays to educate these children? The tax payers like me. We pay for the translators, ESL classes, and extra faculty, too.

This is in response to all of u who think ILLEGAL immigrants collect welfare: How can they possibly collect it if they have no identity? No SS number and so forth?

Another thing: What about all the taxes they take out of their checks that they will never see again such as a tax return? The people who have what you all call an "anchor baby" and are collecting welfare for their children are being supported by the taxes that are being taken from the illegals.

Everyone just wants someone to blame. Iam 100% sure that there is more to our bad economy than illegal immigrants!!

Not everyone benefits. Many people do, as you pointed out, but lazy Americans that want more money for less work than the market will bear don't benefit. Anti-immigrant groups don't benefit either.
