I mean I just came from the Philippines and I think I actually am getting better at English.But I definitely am smart in geography and math.

So, not only are you intelligent enough for your classmates to acknowledge it, but you also posess humility, and aparently a good personality or they would not tell you that.

You have all the right personality and intellectual traits. Go with it, and just keep doing your best.

Intelligence is all a matter of perspective. Your classmates consider you smart, but Albert Einstein, for instance, might consider you stupid. I'm not saying you are or are not smart, just saying it's all about perspective. :)

Me at work,,,,,I have people telling me, I'm the best equipment operator.
I appreciate the comments, but, I will not let it go to my head.
Stay on track with what and how you are doing things, and keep going.

Same thing happened to me. What happens is that our countries education is so much harder, when you come here what it is average in your country, here is genius...so just take the comments as compliments and keep going and improving always...
