Hi rootietootie,
Twice a day but you need to watch very carefully the amount of food. You need to remember that Beagles were bred to run and run and run and they have a natural appetite for continual eating. They have a way of making you believe they are always hungry and will never refuse food. Look carefully on the packet his recommended quantitiy and measure it carfeully.
My late Beagle ended up quite fat and it was a long process trying to get her back to normal weight.

I fed my Beagle twice a day until about 6 months then once a day. Beagles are such easy keepers do not feed too much. Mine got so fat by a year he had to go on a diet.

Three to four times a day is ideal. Be sure to let her out 15 mins after feeding and a walk before each meal is a good way to keep her disciplined.

In the wild dogs have to work for their food. If you walk them before feeding you are imitating what is natural to them and will keep them balanced.

Feed a dog once especially a puppy isn't a good idea. How would you like to eat once a day? Puppies are used to milk feedings many times a day. Make sure she is getting the right amount of food too. She should have an hour glass shape, you should be able to feel her ribs but not see every rib through her skin.

at 4 months you could cut it down to twice a day, but if she really acts like she's starving at the second meal maybe 3 times for a few more weeks.

Twice a day for the next two months, then you can cut back to just daily.
