A girl with a warm, genuinely happy personality, who is confident and low-maintenance (from him), who says what she wants so he can go and get it for her, and who will greet him at the door happy to see him even if she's had a rough day herself (and talk about the rough day later on)... Looks get you in the door, personality keeps you there beyond breakfast. When married, a wife does well by thinking "what kind of woman would I want to come home to?" and this will give some good guidance. An unkempt, negative, nagging woman who expects her man to read her mind, or worse, one who mopes about with a negative attitude, or perhaps worse, who feels like an entitled princess, will have guys running for the hills.
Just be the opposite of what you know guys hate, and you will be on the right track.

A buddy he can go camping & fishing with. No women chattering all the time. Now if you are a camper & fisher & don't chatter much a bonus would be if you don't object to gutting & cleaning the fish he just might want to cook himself - just so he can get it 'right'. If you are also a pretty 20 ish woman who enjoys sex without looking for a commitment, he will think he has died and already gone to heaven.

I turned 40 this past September.... so for what it's worth...
I am turned on by a woman who has a good sense of self, tends to be casual, is low maintenance and enjoys what is happening now. I like to open your door for you, appreciate when you graciously accept it, and at the same time, appreciate and graciously accept it if/when you get the next door.... At this stage of life, I love looking at a good looking woman, but would prefer to be with one who doesn't give me games to figure out.... I like to think we left that behind us with the college days and bar scenes...
