Start right away. Like they say it is harder to teach an old dog new tricks. Puppies learn fast. Here is what the trainer said when I took my dog to training class. "You that have puppies here will find they learn very fast, you will also find, being puppies, they will forget just as fast. It is constant training".

It depends on what you are training her for. If it is for the 08 Olympics you'd better start now. If it is to chase a rubber ball, take your time.
