LOL; No - it means more stuff is moving to electronic info exchange now :) So instead of receiving letters in the mail and that deluge as in the past - people exchange emails, IM or post to Y-A

Well, I am almost 50 years old and went through menopause when I was 39. Perhaps I should have received an e-mail back then about menopause, but I didn't. And I received stuff in the mail about aarp way before I neared fifty, telling me I was inelligible until I was 50.(strange one) I believe you can be as young as you feel and that alot of ageing is a state of mind. I have 3 small grandchildren (under 4yrs. of age) that I spend alot of time with. When I am with them I feel young, I act young, jumping and singing and clapping, and doing all sorts of silly things you wouldn't expect a fifty year old to do. But why not! I feel great being on their level yet also being responsible and being someone they know can also act in a responsible adult way if need be. They light up like roman candles when they see me and i the same and off we go for a time of laughter and fun. The simple things in life can be so enjoyable and people seem to look over that stuff and can't imagine being thrilled by walking up the hill to see the goats(again and again) or being a buckin bronk till your legs give out and you fall over and a crowd of toddlers are laughing their asses off at you. And at that very moment I don't feel any older than they are!!! However, with each minute, hour, day, month, and year all of us are getting older. Tick, tick, tick, tick!!!! time waits for no one. Everyone alive right now is a part of the world as it is in Dec. of 2007, just as the people in 1880 were a part of that era. This is our designated time to live and we all grow older daily and eventually have a time to die. It is only a small fragment of time that we are here and if you just realized you're getting older perhaps you better not worry about the inevitable and make good times of the time you have.I'm a believer in "you're as young as you feel "and the older you act and think you are the quicker you will grow old. Think, you're not getting older, you're getting better. I'm not an old grama, I'm the most experienced ,best ,youngest, buckin bronk there is around (I got witnesses) and I refuse to get in line with the old grey mare!!! Have fun! refuse to grow old!

age is:
1> a state of mind--you are as old as you THINK or FEEL you are
2> just a number
ALL of us are a day older today than we were yesterday. You are not any different than anyone else. That should make you feel a lot better. Oh, and about AARP--stands for American Association of RETIRED Persons. Since you are not retired, file that mail in the "circular file" till you are 70.
