I'm from Augusta and that's where I will be doing my one unit training/airborne school stuff.

Yeah. I don't know how much luckier I will be to be stationed there during the winter...but I'll take cold over heat any day! I'm trying to put off thinking about the jumping out of a plane part untl they throw me out the first time and it's not so bad.

Benning isn't such a bad place, just be prepared to run, and run, and run, and run a bit more.
And since my daughter still lives in Columbus wave as you drive through.

I had a friend do his airborne school there about 5 years ago. Hated it because he was there in the humidity of the summer.
