my mother had a maggot like egg come out of her skin in the outer part of her vagina close to the anus. It left a small opening in the area. I thought it might be pinworm, but they don't look like that. can someone help me figure out what this is. She is undergoing chemotherapy which has cause lots of infection. If someone has had this please help me understand this

It sounds like it may be a white head/infected hair. Basically an encapsulated infection. Sometimes they become overly enlarged in the groin area. If popped, they are firm and sometimes have an odor.

Did she squeeze it to make sure its an egg sack? Cause it could be a blackhead or an ingrown hair if she has had hair lose with the chemotherapy, they will leave a hole in the skin.

Sounds like it was a Peri-Anal Abscess.

My advice would be to call a gynecologist fast. Or go to the ER. That's not normal.

frankly, I'd take the egg and your mother to a doctor asap.
