Candace, It's RHODESIAN Ridgeback and there is none of it in that dog.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I see a possibility of a Pitbull or Staffy in that dog.
Added: Oh yeah, a Viszla makes a lot of sense.
Bozema - Ridgeback is a possibility, but I have a Ridgeback and I just don't see it in that dog. I guess there's always a chance, but the face doesn't look Ridgeback at all. RR's have very long snouts and different heads. I just don't see it.
A different hound of some sort is a possibility.

Hound or beagle. Definitely, NOT pit based on the pic. I've seen enough of them through the years, and they have a distinct look.

well i def. see pit in it but it could also be boxer the coloring and the ears could possibly suggest that maybe it has redbone coonhound i had a dog that was mixed with pit and redbone and it looks kinda similar to ur dog but a little darker in color and white tips at the end of its ears.

I'd go with Lab/Pit mix.
Actually, after looking at the notes for Vizsla, that's also a pretty good guess:
"Skull moderately wide between the ears with a median line down the forehead."

My best guess would be Rhodesian Ridgeback or some other type of hound--houndlike ears, reddish-orange color of a Rhodesian. As you said he definitely has some Lab blood.

I think there may be some hound in there, possibly Ridgeback.
Sorry Shanna - I don't see the pit.

looks like a hound mix. Try to get one of those new dna test kits it's the only way to know.

That's a hard one. He looks like he has some beagle in him. Or maybe pitbull. That's pretty hard to tell. I don't actually think he's a beagle, because his face is kind of wrinkly. Hope I slimmed down your thoughts a bit!
Hope this helps!
Good luck!
P.S. He's ADORABLE!!!!
