I think it would be pretty darn in considerate to leave work just to be with a guy. I mean you are to be putting in company time, which also means the company provides you with some money to keep your bills paid and gives you health benefits. So really I think staying on the job is alot more important than dashing off with a bf that you can easily replace with one that understands that vacation time is meant for vacation time. Not whenever he buys a plane ticket and expect you to haul azz with him. And as for the family issues deal, you should definitely take care of those first if at all possible before going away. Because if you don't show up and you are a key part of what decisions might be made you could seriously be causing more family issues. Any vacation and guy can wait til things get a bit more settled before he plans a trip some place.

Well, I'm the kind of guy that understands the whole "family issues" thing. Would I be mad about her not going? No. I';m the kind of guy who'd cancel the trip and stick around to help her out. That's just me though.

i think i will certainly go mad. well i made a plan, get the tickets with my bucks and then my girl is not comming!! and she is giving some non-sence family issue (ya if its a death of someone i can consider then but no less than that) that more than neglecting. well its a matter of going mad....

when we say we can "that we would be sincier and understanding" but its not in real...

personally, i wouldnt be mad if i understood where the girl was coming from. but a lot of other guys may not be able to understand what your going through and may think your being selfish. depends on the guy

I would be, right up until I looked in those big beautiful eyes while you explained the whole thing. After that who could possibly be mad at you.
