Hail!

Solstice Night
I and my family will be doing a blot at sunset and against at Midnight (I'll be staying up all night to greet the sun). That means raising a horn of milk in honor of the deities and ancestors, especially the female ones - first night is for them).

The next nights until New Year's Eve I will be doing a solitary blot to honor the deities, ancestors and my kith and kin.

On New Year's Eve - we will once again to the blot at sunset, I'll stay awake and burn the Yule wreath at sunrise (and then go to bed!)

Burn a log, set up a tree, celebrate the solstice... you know, the usual.

*edit*

It's called Yule as well, it just is a solstice, so don't worry, you didn't type anything wrong ;)

I'll have "nine of all male beings sacrificed" and hung on the tree.

They are the red bulbs in the Christmas tree.

I think I can fit in some candy canes too.

I can't say that I know what the Yule is. I'm interested in hearing more about it though.

Well... since my family is Christian, I'll be celebrating Christmas with them, all the while knowing that all of their rituals are pagan and they are clueless:)

We will be in New Orleans, staying with friends on our boat. We are currently heading around the Florida Keys on our way to there. Enjoy your holidays!!

Just get through it. Holidays are sometimes hard when you have no family....I say SOMETIMES. LOL< there are no family arguments when it's just me and my cats. I can leave friends' houses when it gets intense....

Overall, I like it.
