Y E S!! There is a documentary film, "Bella Vista," a book, "An Alien Place," by Carol Bulger Van Valkenburg. This is about Italian-Americans being interned during WWII!

In fact the Japanese Americans had to suffer major internment and humiliation, including loss of property, easier to target those whose facial features are different from Caucasians.

Yes, there were internment camps for some Italian-Americans, even though the Navy Department did seek assistance from the Mafia.

Not really, Itallians were at war with the US yes but people didn't really care about them since they did not have any big operations against US troops, they were mostly fighting against the British and the Greeks.
