Which State Is The Smartest? Wealthiest?

Question

I've heard a lot of things about which state is the smartest and richest.

To my belief, I think the Smartest States are:

1) VT- Smartest
2) MA
3) CT- Highest IQ?

I've heard that MA and CT are very close and also that MN, NY, and ME are somewhere close to the top.

Wealthiest:

All I know about the wealthiest state is that CT is the 2nd, but I dont know the first.

Does anyone know anything I dont? Does anyone know if I'm wrong? Feel Free to share...

The wealthiest states goes as follows:
1) california
2) texas
3) new york

In my opinion, New York is the smartest. CT is not the wealthiest, it's just that their buildings cost less. In New York, there is way more competition and pressure, and you have to work hard to be successful. Plus, you take really big tests at a young age of third grade, and other states like CT don't.

Nope, I believe it's California. There are more degreed people here and more millionaires in Santa Barbara than anywhere else (mostly doctors, no surprise there, right?).
