For the past month or so my husband has had "episodes" where he experiences aches, fatigue and generally feeling ill with a fever of about 100. This lasts 1 or maybe 2 days and he's back to normal again and totally better. Then about a week or two later, the same thing comes back again.

Today he came home feeling the same way again - that makes the 3rd time in less than 5 weeks.

He's been checked for mono and it was negative. He eats a balanced diet and is not under a lot of stress. What might be the problem, and why does this come and go?

Veritas, in my early twenties, what you described happened to me. It was stress I think, because when I removed the stressor, I felt better. I also had a lot of acid reflux. Both problems went away at the same time. I get acid reflux when I have a lot of anxiety. I'm really not positive this is what is happening to your husband, but I wanted to share with you my experience.

Well, I know that you are expecting. I've heard of men getting ill, kind of like the moms do. It used to be called "Sympathy" but now it is known that expectant mothers carry a germ (I'm not medically trained so I don't know that it's actually a germ or a hormone, etc...) that causes the dad to develop symptoms similar to what an expectant mom experiences. I believe that it can be transmitted when you kiss and so forth. Either way, maybe he should visit the doctor again. Maybe he's reacting to something that he's ingesting, like a type of food or something along those lines. Hope all is well and God bless.

even though I am obviously not a Dr. I would dare to say that if you or him are mature (oldish) people you may consider thinking about the so called menopause, I've heard it also happen to men. if so it would be good to visit the doctor but maybe is not too "worry some" as to something dangerous or too serious. hope it goes away without any harm done. take care.

There are way too many causes of intermittent low-grade fever and malaise to be listed here, from malaria to various tick-borne diseases to lupus. As we don't know anything about your husband's medical history, we can only provide guesses, as his fever and malaise are probably merely a symptom of something else.

Yes, Epstein-Barr virus (mononucleosis) can cause these symptoms, as can cytomegalovirus http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/cmv/DS00938. You may want to return to the physician for a more complete evaluation and diagnosis.

I am not a doctor so I cannot diagnose what the medical problem of your husband is. But I can share with you what the Holy Spirit told us.

The Holy Spirit gave 19 prophecies in 1979 that were published in a Sunday magazine supplement in 1980. One of them states: “Nameless diseases will spread the cause of which will not be known, and such diseases will exact a heavy toll of human beings and work animals.” Your husband’s mysterious medical problem may not be life threatening, but still is an unknown, a puzzle.

Have you not noticed the numerous new, mysterious diseases that even doctors, those in the medical profession, are not be able to solve these days. They will remain to be puzzles. Your husband’s unknown problem may be one of these diseases.

The Holy Spirit told us how we can overcome, or avoid being affected, by these diseases, like the other “storms” in life that we will encounter. He said that we should learn how to pray earnestly, as if talking to Him. We should learn how to plead for His help. He gave us one memorized prayer, and this is what He taught us: “Heaps of danger may come our way, they will pass like the wind if we call on You, Father. Akdodam, Akdodam, Akdodam.” Please ask your husband to pray this (as often as smoking cigarettes). I hope this and his and your prayers will help. Remember that nothing is impossible to God.

Hi Veritas

THe body gives you signals (in this case, pain and fatigue) to let you know your internal balance isnt correct.

Look closely at the suggestions I make below (look at #4 especially), regardless of the health issue. If you do these steps below, you'll give the body time to heal the issue without having to digest meat. dairy, manmade chemicals, preservatives, etc.

Here is a list of important health topics people dont realize or take for granted and thus causes issues.

1. stress = most of it is self induced. Even thinking and actually talking about negative means you attact more negative energy. Visualize and "Feel" a healthy beautiful body (end result) and you'll have it before you know it.
Once the body breaks down from stress then its much easier to get sick or unhealthy for that matter.

Obviously exercise helps manages stress tremendously!

Remember what you focus on (negative or positive) is what you will attract in your life. This universal law is called "The Law of Attraction".

2. Lack of water. Drink a gallon of distilled water daily to hydrate the body and flush out the excess waste and toxins out of the blood.

3. Nutrition = this helps heal the body and will gives it energy to work on the internal issues. Mainly raw organic fruit and vegetables. If you only ate organic raw F & V for 7-10 days and drank distilled water you would see a change in your energy and be on your way to better health. Letting the body rest from digesting meats, dairy, and processed foods would do wonders for him.

4. clogged colon = Not eliminating the processed food and chemicals we eat every day will give anyone an illness and/or disease. If doctors we're actually taught this, our society would be much improved. DO a colon and liver cleanse to clear out excess waste and toxins in the blood. This will help heal any illness or disease.

Best of health to you
