you won't if you keep obsessing about it. I suggest that there is no reason for you to sleep away from home if you don't want to. If you do want to, and find it impossible, then maybe you need to have a talk with mom and dad about getting you some therapy.

You had a traumatic experience when you could not contact your parents. It is understandable that at 10, it would be scary. But now that you are older and know more, you understand that there are many ways to access your parents or another relative or friend if you need to do so.

You have to ask yourself if what you are feeling is the truth or you are thinking back to what happened when you were 10. If things get worse and you cannot control this, ask your parents to get you some counseling help to talk about how to get past this, ok?

its totally normal. i'm the same age as you and i managed to overcome this fear. the key is you need something to occupy your mind so that you don't get sad. the thing is like with me when my mind is bored and when i'm not stressed, i get all sad and depressed. then i started being as occupied as i can. find something to do like read a book you enjoy when going to sleep. then that way it'll help you dream. i hope it works for you. good luck =)
