Typically, a dog who has no appetite (anorexia) is a dog in pain. Unless you have a picky eater? You did not supply enough details.

If it's a new dog and hasn't adjusted yet this is normal just give it time and try mixing in treats or low sodium broth to make food more tasty. If this is a dog you've had a while and just recently stopped eating it could be sick and should be taken to the vet. It also depends on how many meals it's skipped, sometimes my dogs just skip a meal because they dont feel so hungry. But if it's gone a day or more go see a vet and also watch for loose stools, vomiting or lethargy.

First things first - Call your vet. Just to let you know, dogs do not show pain because that is weakness. Even though they are pets, they still have their natural behavior in them. Their natural outside behavior tells them that if they show weakness, they can be prey for a larger animal. You should be able to tell if your dog is acting funny or if it just won't eat. Call your vet and tell them the situation and ask them what to do. They should tell you some things to try. Hope this helps.

Take it to the vet pronto. Things that could cause your dog not to eat include:
1) Physical obstruction (it ate something bad)
2) Toxin
3) Metabolic diseases
4) Cancer

Cook a minute steak, well done, for him. See if he will eat bites of it from your hand. If not, get him to the vet.
