Having spent considerable time at navy bases,i would damn well question anyone i felt needed a second questioning. The ACLU doesn`t have any say about who can or isn`t allowed on a military base. It`s just too bad.

Well please tell them to contact the ACLU. Because as they said in the 60's, The Times They are a Changin.
And no its not even profiling, because guess what an Arab looking man fits the description of several wanted terrorists that those guards are briefed on. If they are true Americans they would not mind going through security, and if the guards do treat them wrong then they should be talking to the commander not the ACLU.
Grow up and tell them to act smart. Its a shame but its the times.

UHM! I'm white as white can be and I have been pulled over and questioned many times. I think they randomly double check anyone, like I said I am so white I could pass as a ghost and they have double checked me! Some of the guards even know me by first name because they see me all the time and still ask questions. It's been like that ever since 9/11. I ride horseback on the base

Dude are you blind that we are at war with allot of Arab people? Do you really think it is beneath those Dip-Sh#ts to pose as Arab-Americans to get on US Bases? It is called security of national assets, and unfortunatley for some Americans they fit the profile of Musheed Al-Fu@K'head, your local Al Qaida representative!

Even tho it is discrimination, all military bases are high on the list for terrorism. They would much rather be safe than sorry, and although i agree that a terrorist could be any race or gender, since iraq attacked us, thats who seems to be the biggest threat. it sucks, but its better than saying "oh I dont want them to be mad at us" then the whole base get blown up cuz they let the wrong person through, id hope arabs, and all other races that get discriminated against would understand that its for the safety of everybody.

Look, I'm all for equality and all, but if it looks like a duck, smells like a duck, and quacks like a duck, but has an ID saying it's a dog, I accept that I may very well be wrong, but I'm going to consider the POSSIBILITY that it's a duck.
Profiling saves lives! Sad, but true.

Well Arabs have a tendency to blow shi.t up around Americans so I don't blame them for being a bit paranoid.
