theonlysolorose: I am looking for answers from people with real life experience with one or the other... Not some generic answer gotten from a 5 second search.

Think they are related. From what I have seen....

exzema is more like a rash... it alternates from a itchy burning to dry flaky patches.

psoriasis is usually more serious. It is scaley looking scabs. The ones I have seen have been round about nickle size.

Far as I know treatment is the same.

I wish that I knew more about it. I think eczema is more of a long term thing that can cover the body. and psoriasis deals with the scalp area..

Eczema is more of an allergy/stress reaction and psoriasis is an autoimmune disease.

psoriasis is mainly pertaining to the scalp and hair loss......exzema is a skin condition
