I don't have a problem with them. I dislike militant Muslims from anywhere, but I dislike miltant-anythings coming around and just wanting to pick a fight. At least have some vegies and dip first! But I am also not fond of chauvanists and that is pretty prominent there as well and they tend to bring it up a lot - ask insulting questions and make insulting statements. But I wait for that, I do not go looking for it. So often I have a good time with someone and they are from the Middle East - it all depends on whether they want to be social and fun or just be a stinker. It's their choice.

I do not have a problem with middle easterners. I have had many friends from middle eastern nations: Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, etc. They're just like many of my other friends that come from other nations: India, France, Mexico, Australia, etc. And they're just as religiously diverse: Atheist, Muslim, Christian, Agnostic, Buddhist (that one was odd to me, but he explained that he had been studying it....you just don't expect a middle eastern Buddhist, but apparently they exist! Just shows that life is always full of surprises). And like many of them I lost contact when A) they went back to their home nation B) they moved to go to school elsewhere in the US and got busy so either I do not hear from them any more or rarely hear from them or C) they were citizens who immigrated with their parents and their family moved and they moved with their family and in the process I either have not heard from them or rarely hear from them or D) I no longer work at the company where we saw each other every day and neither of us ever exchanged phone numbers so we only see each other when we come across each other out and about shopping, etc.

I do not dislike Middle Easterners. My best friend is Persian and my boyfriend is Hebrew. They are great people just like every race is! If you're around other people giving you the idea most people are racist, find new people to hang out with! Because no race of people isn't truly any different than another...we're all people!

many of the Middle easterners I know are wonderful people. All Muslims are not terrorists and violent bigots and not all Middleeasterners are Muslim. Israelis are Middle( or Near) easterners and so are Arab and Armenian Christians

You're right. Middle Easterners don't even like other Middle Easterners.

I just don't think they're very flavorful or filling, plus they're kind of fattening and don't go well with fine wines.

Wow, even I found that one to be in poor taste. I'll get reported for this, won't I?

I've actually never had a problem with middle-easterners that don't have a problem with me. I can say that of every culture.

I don't and never have had a problem with folks from the Middle East. I'm not a generalizing bigot, I know there are good and bad people from any demographic.

Why do you capitalize no one. I know quite a few people of middle eastern descent that I like quite well.

i don't hate them.
i am your typical white guy, but some of my closest friends are middle eastern.
i have a friend named Ali Hussein who just recently got his flying license, and i see no problem with this at all.
some people are just ignorant, and generalize the middle eastern society as racist, violent, etc...

I do. Not everyone has hate in their heart. There are good open people left in the world, but unfortunatly religion blinds humans. It leads them to hate, close-minded thinking, and ignorant discrimination. If everyone could just learn to accept other people's ideas and way of life...acceptance is key!
