Also about the internet. if we do get a ethernet cable, where do we put it? in the phonejack? but the phone jack is too far away from the tv! somebody please help me

The PS3's come with these items:

1 Ethernet Cord
1 Sixaxis Wireless Controller
1 USB cord
1 composite cable
1 power cord
1 PS3 console (of course)

The 80GB PS3 also comes with Motorstorm, and the 40GB PS3 comes with the Blu-Ray DVD Spiderman 3.

When you get the Ethernet cord, you don't put it in the phone jack because it wont fit in a phone jack. The Ethernet cord needs to go in a Ethernet jack. The PS3 doesn't support dial-up Internet, only Broadband or DSL. The PS3 can also be connected to a Wireless Network to connect to the Internet Wirelessly.

And yes, Resistance Fall of Man and Warhawk are 2 really good games to get. I have Resistance Fall of Man, and it's an awesome shooter, with a good campaign mode. Resistance Fall of Man 2 is coming out in the future also (maybe late 2008 or 2009).

It comes with the PS3 , controller , charge cable for controller , A/V cables , and a mini ethernet cable(that is so small its useless)

Just plug the Ethernet cable into the back of your modem , and the other end into the PS3, you will probably need a longer cable though because it is only a few feet long.

do you have a modem with a ethernet port on it or is ur computer conected by a usb modem ?

if there isnt an ethernet port on ur modem i sugges buying a
router to pug into ur modem that splitus ur internet connection up for other things to acces it

althought the easyest option would be to by a NETGEAR
WIRELESS ROUTER this replaces ur current modem and any router with just 1 box
ur ps3 will connect to this with no wires !
thease are about $60-70

therefore ypu can have ur ps3 by ur tv and not have to have an ethernet going up to ur pc

also my first games were f1 resistance and motorstorm

and im addicted to warhawk
i got 7 nife kills without dying
that may be bad but i was really pleased with myself =)
