Last night I slept on my back wrong and I woke up this morning (around 6am) and discovered that my back hurt really bad. The pain is in my upper (just below shoulder blades) to upper middle. I am 13 yrs old so I was just wondering what can I do to make it not hurt anymore? It's hurt all day and it's now 5:48pm. That's almost 12 hours. The pain isn't sharp, it's more of a dull achy pain.

Lay down on the bed with a pillow under you back going from your head to your tail bone This will support your back and pull your arms and shoulder back. Lay that way for a while and see if it helps. I have a bad back and I sleep with my pillow long ways every night. I find it much more restful than my head propped up on a pillow.

you could have slept on it wrong...so do stretches, take a hot bath, use heating pad, etc...but also it could have something to do with your period (especially if you haven't had it yet for the 1st time)....
