Very very tricky situation dear. If she hates him n that too with a burning passion I don't think she will like the idea that u want him or r with him...is this quite recent? If so, u might want to give it a bit more time. If its not recent, whatever u do, don't hide ur feelings for him from her...
Does the guy like u 2?If u both like each other, u shud let her know before she hears it from someone else coz that cud really hurt her n put her off.
I was in a similar situation (almost 3 times)...where my friend liked my ex bf...I appreciated that they let me know...one of them is now even married to my ex.
If she doesn't understand, than u have no other option but to choose ur friendship or ur feelings for the ex bf.

Firends are more important. Seriously, how likely is that you and he would be together forever? Not very, right? But you & her will probably always be friends. Find another guy. Maybe u want your life ruined, too?

dude going out with your friends ex isnt a good idea unless she has no feelings for him and is okay with you going out with him. i suggest if you really like this guy despite him ruining your best friends life you go talk to your best friend and if she is ok with it then make it happen. good luck
