Because we're 'foolish' or 'blind'?

Funny isn't it, out of thousands of gods they think that we should be open to none but theirs. I think Dawkins has a good point. Yet christians are atheists to thousands and we just go one more, one tiny little god more and they cannot understand it.

Each atheist has his own set of conditions that would need to be met before he would believe in God.

I wouldn't consider an atheist foolish or blind unless his set of conditions were the null set.

No, I never ask if someone is an atheist or any other personal questions. Do people really try to indoctrinate you? What do they say? Everyone has their own life to live. I think that it's their God given right to live it as they feel is best. If someone asks my advice, I will ad what I can, but that's all. Make your own choices..

I'm not sure it's either one of those.
There may be those that will claim you want to do as you want with no interference from God.
There may be those that will say you don't want to be held accountable.
Perhaps.
Or perhaps it's because what you are hearing and what you are seeing is two different things. Everyone wants to judge you as ignorant, because of your beliefs and yet they aren't living up to theirs.
I don't know, just a thought.
But as a Christian Preacher I beg of you not to judge Christianity and God's love and Mercy by the actions of those of us that claim Christianity.

lol. Actually I was going to say because my beliefs don't make sense to you.

I have no reason to say that people are foolish or blind if I've never met them. I think it's everyones' right to believe as they wish. (As long as they don't use those beliefs to justify horrible acts of violence or abuse).

Probably because we spend too much time and effort on trying to indoctrinate others with our thoughts rather than living lives of love, helping the less fortunate, etc.

Peace to you.

I honestly dont give much thought to atheists at all. You're entitled to your lack of faith as much as I'm entitled to believe in God. I've never seen so much angst as when the atheists in here continue to try to demean people of faith. Surely you have something better to do with your minds.

Psalms 14:1 "In there is a foolish God with no heart"... He has said.

Well according to the Bible you are both.

Psalms 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God

2 Cor 4:4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
