Hon, Pangel's a big girl..she's had it happen on many occasions.. not everyone who claims to follow "christ" actually does.. there are a lot of these fundamentalists that like to attack those who actually practice what they preach, simply because the fundies' religion doesn't give them that kind of ability nor the self-esteem that Pangel's beliefs do for her.
She shines regardless of what they say.. you're a good friend to want to defend her, but trust me, she'll handle it with her usual grace.

The trinity is not a Catholic thing at all, it's a part of nearly every Christian denomonation. Being 'born again' is a more common term among protestants. And just a note to the person who mentioned the King James Bible, I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but that version is becoming less and less common, most churches these days use the NIV, and as for swearing on it, no one should actually swear on a Bible because the Bible itself says not to swear on anything, "let your yes be yes and your no be no".

Fundamentalists hate anyone who is not a born again. They even hate many Christians who go to different churches. They are not true Christians, more like pharisees that Jesus spoke against. Pangel shouldn't care what those people say about her. I have never liked "born again" Christians.

Some people are haters.
Some people are jealous of ones popularity.
Some people cannot see a good person when they see one.
Some people have strict religious views that doesnt include tolerance to others.
And unfortunately on here there are many who are comprised of all four of the aforementioned statements. Pangel is a luvvly person. Enough said.

Let's not get so easily offended. We need to toughen up around here.
Anyone who is a regular on here is going to have nasty encounters once in a while.
It's regretable that someone was rude to Pangel, but it goes both ways and happens to people on both sides. We are all sinners. No one is perfect.
Thanks for sticking up for her....will you do the same for a Christian when it happens? I hope so!
But for now....let it go.

The same can be said of those who disagree with Christians, dear one. And there are many on these boards. Why are they so nasty to us born again Christians???
God bless!

My so called born again Christians are rude and inconsiderate and judgmental. Not all but you notice I said so called. That means the fakers. The counterfeits.
SD
Edit:
Jesus said you will know them by their fruits. so if they are nasty and rude they are not born again. The fruits of a born again is faith, love, being considerate etc.

"Born-again" Christians tend to be nasty to everyone who isn't a born-again Christian.
Pangel is simply the sweetest person I know. If they're going to be mean to her, then no one is off-limits.

Well, I'm nice too, but sometimes I say stupid things and then I get rebuked. Can't really answer her situation because you didn't post the question.
