How does one explain having a costume like this and what would you say to the guy?
BTW The guy is a close friend!

I'd tell him he looks cute in my costume & if he wants to be the maid for the party that's fine, but he needs to finish getting dressed. Then before he can say anything, tell him to take a shower, shave his legs, his underarms & his chest too, then make him wear a corset, bra, panties, stockings, the costume, 4" or 5" high heels, full make-up, do his nails too, style his hair, make him look really cute & when your finished with his makeover, let you guests meet the maid.
You should tell him that for your next party he better arrive wearing his own French maid costume & tell him that you'll take him shopping so he can get everything he's going to need for his costume & you should take him shopping dressed as a girl too.

Laugh along with everyone else at how funny he looks in the costume. Easily explained at having it....it was a costume for a Halloween party!

lmao if I saw my boyfriend or any guy for that matter I'd probably roll on the floor laughing. Its hilarious but also an invasion of space.....hopefully he didn't stop to check out your undie drawer. I really don't think you need an explanation most women have dress up stuff for their partners and it's normal . Plus hello Halloween was just weeks ago.
