I agree. You will have to reschedule.
Call the doctor on call and explain what happened.. You are not the first to make this mistake and the doctor should have gone over the prep with you .
The can't see anything unless your colon is empty.
Hey, I had one and it is easy.I promise.

Don't eat any more solid food tonight. Clear liquids only-things you can" see through" like Sprite, 7-up, water, clear broth, jello. Stop eating or drinking anything at midnight and don't drink or eat in the morning, just small sips of water if you really need to. You should be fine for your test by noon tomorrow. Good luck and try not to worry.

Call to reschedule the colonoscopy, otherwise the test will result inconclusive. I took only liquid and soft food (nothing red, purple dark colored) three days before, and the day before I started taking the laxative I had nothing to eat ...just water. You need to do it right ...follow the instructions indicated by your doctor or nurse.

Is a no-no. You have to drink all of that nasty stuff, and if they find out that you ate or drank, they won't perform the procedure. Different facilities have varying equipment, so follow the instructions they gave you. Good luck!

You should not have eaten today. There is a small chance your intestines will not be clear now for the test tomorrow. Too late to call doc--. Just take the laxative and go onto appt like scheduled. Tell them what you did, they may reschedule you. Good Luck- that test is not fun.

You should be ok to go if you stop eating now and start taking the laxative. Also, I recommend using adult wet wipes instead of toilet paper... after about 67 times of using the restroom, it tends to get very uncomfortable.

Proceed with the laxative. Because your appt is at noon, you'll probably be cleaned out enough by the time of the test.
My husband only drank just over half of the jug of liquid that they prescribed and the doc told him he did a good job of his "prep".
Good luck with your test!

Your stomach and duodenum must be empty for the procedure to be thorough and safe, so you will not be able to eat or drink anything for at 6 hours beforehand.

see if you can contact someone from the facility where it's being done and ask. If they won't let you come in, no sense in going all night with no food.
