do you really want the truth or do you want to hear what you want to hear? Do the police departments really want to hire an ignorant person with no life experience. Why do they hold juvenile records or drug use against you as an adult and if it is past 7 or more years? is there really enough innocent people, i think not... why would every department be hiring all the time? demographical reasons.. no.. because of all the baby boomers retireing.. no... what is the truth behind hiring police officers? ive asked many officers these questions. they told me they lied about drug use or other stuff... how do they get away with it? why did you hire cops who kill their family or use drugs or are succeptable to the corruption of society rather than hire some one who has been in the corruption and has raised through it?

Background investigators do not hire people, they just collect information. The actual hiring is done by management, county boards, or police and fire commissions.

Lies could be made but when the records show that they are criminals, the applicants will not be accepted.
