A New girl has arrived at my work, and slowly, we have become cuddly, flirty and kissed - not lips - and we have been given each other little gifts. When some employees suggested to us that we should go out together sometime, she agreed and i told her I would talk to her next time I seen her because we were just finishing work. The next week I went into work and i talked to her and i asked about when i could take her out. She said shyly that it would have to be after the christmas time and she 'pinkie promised' me that we would go out after christmas, because she had alot of christmas shopping and important essays to do for college. I am confused as I do like her, but i dont know how she feels as she is very friendly towards everyone and abit shy towards people, although I am the only person she has made contact physically with within the work. I wanted to know if she had second doubts or she actually realised what I meant???

You're actively flirting with each other and she's agreed to go out with you...not a slam dunk, no, but it's still pretty positive forward momentum. Life doesn't give you any better encouragement than that. So, get your nerves in check, stop second-guessing everything and go make this thing work! Good luck!

Men distract women sometimes. We we are single we are more focused. She definitely likes you but she know that she has to handle her business first. She want to get things out of the way so she can focus on you.
Offer to shop or study with her if you go to school.
PS- I am not saying that you will do something to distract her purposly but its just natural for a women to get distracted.

She could also want some time to think about it too! That you could have feelings for her..and if she has any for you! Dude, offer to take to the mall and shop. (Maybe get an idea of what she wants for Christmas, or at least who she is buying for.) Meet her up at the library for homework.
