is this a good idea?

Can't think of anything to get my boyfriend of six months for christmas. We are both 16 and I'm low on cash. So...
...How's this sound?
I'm really artistic. So im going to make flat gingerbread cookies and put little designs of things he likes and cartoons on them (eg. the original super mario- the pixely version, and a comic strip about the five second rule)

does that sound like a good idea?
