I am a survivor, of both child hood sexual abuse and adult survivor of rape.
The statistics are staggering, 1: 3 girls before the age of 18,and 1:8 boys.
Its important that you reach out and seek help.
There are several online resources -RAINN, Welcome To Barbados,Survive To Thrive. All have very well moderated, supervised bb's that offer support & resources to those starting the healing journey.
The important thing is to reach out.
I can be reached via Yahoo IM terrianncarlson, if you need to talk.
Obviously its also important to reach out and get support in real life.Virtual or Online support is a start.
Be well

Alot of people have been and its nasty. It ruins your life. The perpertrators need to be put down like the mongrels they are. I have noticed that alot of drug addicts I know through my job have been molested and its so sad. Theres help out there. A young person who has been molested needs to know that its not their fault.
