No. The source of motivation is your desire to look better for yourself. His laughter was just a reminder of what you needed to do for you.

Anything that can motivate you to get in better shape is good motivation. Many people have used anger over these types of situations to help them get over the hump of starting a program.

The point is that once you start seeing quantifiable results from working out (usuallly 4 to 6 weeks) your original motivator won't matter in the least and you will be working out because you feel and look so much better.

If I were you I would put a big poster of your x up somewhere and picture him laughing at you every day. It will keep your oomph factor up enough to go and get the job done, and eventually his opinion will not only NOT matter, but his insolence will be the reason your life becomes much better. So YES, this is a good motivation. Get to it!!

BTW start juicing, it is an awesome way to increase your health benefits. Cheers!

He's a jerk, and there is a reason why he is your ex, not your bf. And the house that he is dating, ya, well that's about all he can get, and someday she will realize the same thing.

As for your being out of shape, did you notice anything before he snickered? if not, just because you aren't in shape enough to run a marathon doesn't make you out of shape. If you really are out of shape, do a few simple exercises a day to get back to where you were.

i think of this might properly be a super source of motivation :) and that i relish you for making use of the unfavourable and making it right into a beneficial. i think of the incorrect source of motivation is what I even have, no longer you. i'm a individual who's prompted in uncomplicated terms while somebody loves me. which includes, my fiance. i comprehend for a fact if i improve into to lose him (i lost maximum of my kin in early formative years), i might supply up attempting. My motivation comes from somebody being happy with me, i assume attempting to fill the void of by no ability having everybody to love me like that? besides- it is an occasion of having motivation interior the incorrect place. Yours is superb, save doing what you do and have all those idiots who didnt have self belief in you kiss your butt sooner or later! stable success!

not really the wrong SOURCE for motivation necessarily...getting in shape is a good thing! i know i talk about it all the time but my problem is "finding the motivation" to do it!!! i need to find the drive to start getting in shape and fit ...and in your case, if finding that through seeing an ex and having them laugh at u then use that to start looking and feeling better. its not wrong the way u feel! he shouldn't of laughed at u but hey look at it this way, this is your motivation to look hotter! take his negativity and use it to gain more positive feelings in ur life!!! good luck!

It may not be the best source of motivation as you should do something like that for yourself.. But it sure sounds like a good place to start!

i think things like that are good for motivation, go to the gym and everytime you feel tired think about him and his wife and you will push yourself harder, knowing you can look amazing and have the last laugh. i always use things like that to motivate me.

Your ex sounds like an ******. If you want to improve your appearance, do it for yourself. Who cares what a jerk like that thinks anyway? You're better off without him so you're already on top.
