Hook up your digital camera to your computer and look at the screen. Set to take a picture every 5 seconds and...enjoy the ride. In 5 minutes that will be 60 shots. One should be good don't you think?

Most of the DSLRs come with a software. This software connects your computer to your camera. You can operate the camera from your computer.

Put your camera on a tripod, connect it to your comp. Give time delay for 5 seconds for every shot. You can take upto 999 shots in a go. You can pose around in front of your camera and at the same time you can check the shot on your comp. You don't need to worry about the focus, computer can take care of it.

Here is a shot of me:

I used a Canon 350D, daylight from window, Canon DPP Software with EOS Capture. The light was not enough, so I under-exposed the shot.

Most digital cameras have a timer delay that allows you some time to get in front of the lens. Try that.

If you have a digital camera, you can use the timer to where you can set the timer and then pose for the camera. I've done that and it works well.
