Hi,
Hyperhidrosis, also known as polyhidrosis or sudorrhea means excessive sweating; sweating too much
The most active regions of perspiration include the hands, feet, armpits and the groin area because of a relatively high concentration of sweat glands in those areas.
There are two types of hyperhidrosis. Primary focal hyperhidrosis refers to overactive sweat glands that affect certain areas of the body, such as the hands, feet, face or underarms.
This form of hyperhidrosis can't be prevented and isn't contagious because it was probably inherited (although the condition may skip a generation). Secondary generalized hyperhidrosis is total body
sweating prompted by secondary medical conditions or medications.

Definitely agree about certain-dri. My armpits laughed at regular anti-perspirants, so I know where you're coming from.
If you've used certain-dri and that doesn't work, I'd go see a doctor, probably a dermatologist. They can prescribe a stronger anti-perspirant or even use botox. Like a previous answerer mentioned, botox will keep you dry.
I think some of us just have over active sweat glands.

It's normal to have sweat under the armpits even for a girl.
The thing is you have alot of sweat glands in your arms
and they produce tons of oil which makes you sweat.
The best thing to do is to go to Walmart or Target, and buy
CERTAIN-DRI antiperspirant its specifically for under arm
sweating. And it works because I have tried it before although
my sweating was just a little bit. Once you use it for a week
you can reduce it by using it every other day. Oh and it
can only be used at night because it works better then
all it does it dry up those extra sweat gland cells.

You can do and purchase a deodorant called "Certain Dry" from your local CVS, Rite Aid, or other pharmacy type store. You use this at night before you go to bed and then you use regular deodorant during the day. If you follow the directions it will work.
You should also talk to your doctor if this does not work as you may need a prescription deodorant/antipersperant.

Try to get a deodorant called Mitchum. There is also a deodorant called Drysol extra strength. I have also heard about Pit Stop deodorant system but I don't know if it works. I use Mitchum and my girlfriend used Lady Mitchum. She said it did not work as well as my stuff. You can also get deodorant from your doctor that is very strong.
Good luck.

There is a medical condition that causes that and if you have such a condition there is treatment. See a doctor about it. In the mean time, use dress shields. I knew a girl that had this problem when we were teenagers. She was a real beauty, too. The poor girl was so self-conscious it nearly ruined her high school experience.
It is not funny.

To be honest, unless you really stink [or are generally unattractive] I don't think it would bother me [or my clients] too much. So don't be so hard on yourself. Some people do need to see a Dr about this, but at least you're healthy. This is not life-threatening.

Some of you are so damn childish, sweating is NORMAL. You will not be able to completely stop sweating. Antiperspirants deodorants are used to stop odor, not to stop sweating. You may need to seek medical help to find out if there is something wrong, which causes you to sweat profusely.
